Nathan Dowd
General Manager / Co-Owner
Nathan is the General Manager of med-sherpa Inc, and one of the co-owners. Prior to joining med-sherpa, he spent nearly 2 decades in aerospace engineering in various executive management roles spanning sales, program management, and supply chain. Itching for change, Nathan looked at adjacent industries and found a calling in the medical device space for its similarities in advanced technology, expectations for quality, reliability, safety and performance. Nathan spent many years supporting consent decree remediation and preparations for EU MDR. As a mechanical engineer by trade, his tendency towards organized problem solving and a disciplined approach to conducting business makes him ideal for leading client service and the operational elements of med-sherpa. Nate and his family are based in New England.

PETER NICKERSON
Advisor / Co-Owner
Peter is part owner of med-sherpa, and his focus is on engineering, strategic path, program management and process development of the business. Pete acts as an advisor on the engineering aspects of medical device design, use, and risk. He concurrently owns/operates Nickerson LLC, a boutique aerospace engineering firm based in beautiful Colorado. Peter was formerly an engineering manager at a Parker Aerospace where he obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, mastered team building, customer service and Lean product development. Pete’s experience uniquely suits him to assisting med-sherpa develop robust processes to manage projects and to assure the best customer experience.
